How To Turn Little Snitch Off
Ok. So I have worked out ONE way to do what I want, using Little Snitch (LS). However, it's not what Little Snitch is meant to do, so I still think there's a better way.
(Note the User Template folder is also used for the creation of new accounts, so if you want Little Snitch on in a new account, you will have to enable it after the account is created.) Login to the Guest account. Disable Little Snitch Network Filter in Little Snitch's settings. Open Finder, and press ⌘+Shift+G. Option 1: Drag Little Snitch icon to the Trash. Open up the Finder, click Applications on the left side, and then select Little Snitch. Drag Little Snitch to the Trash (or right click on it and then select Move to Trash option). Right click the Trash icon and select Empty Trash option to start the uninstall. Go to little snitch-preferences-general STOP network filter. That will turn it off. It'll still run but doesn't do anything therefore doesn't matter. If your game doesn't load because little snitch is running (but not doing anything) then I'd ask for your money back as this isn't Windows 95.
How To Snitch On Someone
What I've done is in LS, DENIED ANY connection except for Safari (and I'll add whatever else later on).
Then, when I'm out and about, I turn ON the Network Filter (easily accessible menu item in the menu bar, hence it's quick to use). Any other time, I turn OFF the Network Filter and everything can access the net again.
However, like I said, this kinda defies the point of using LS because when I'm connected to normal Wifi, I allow anything (Network Filter is off) to access the net, which is the opposite of what LS is meant to do. Hence why I'd still like a better way.
